There are three enemies to Joy, Serving, and the Gospel, which we, in the United States of America, face on a daily basis:
- Affluence – “I have much!”
- Consumerism – “I need more!”
- Entitlement – “I deserve it all!
The biggest danger that all three of these words pose to Christians is that they all cause us to focus on self.
