Put Them in Remembrance

Have you ever walked into a room and forgotten why you walked into the room? Or, better yet, have you ever gone to the store to pick up a few items and when you got home realized that you forgot the number one item on your list? A couple of days ago, while we were on vacation, we sent Jeremiah to the grocery store to buy an onion. We sent Mollie along with him to make sure that he got the onion. Before they left, we did add a few more things to the list, but the main thing we sent them to the store for was an onion. When they got back from the store what do you think they had forgotten? The onion. Now, somewhat to their credit, they did bring back a garlic – which wasn’t on the list.

One of the tasks that I have as pastor can be found in 2 Timothy 2:14:

“Of these things put them in remembrance…”
